URBASTUDIO has been appointed to lead the urban design coordination of the Port Chemin Vert ZAC on behalf of SPL Plaine Commune Développement.
Located between the Saint-Denis Canal, the A86 motorway and the historic neighbourhoods of Aubervilliers, Port Chemin Vert is one of the city’s major urban regeneration projects. After several years of urban planning and design, the project is now entering a new phase: translating the masterplan into a coherent, high-quality neighbourhood.
Our mission is to coordinate the urban, architectural and landscape development of the ZAC over time: supporting building permits, updating the masterplan, ensuring the coherence of public spaces and new developments, while responding to the realities of an already inhabited neighbourhood shaped by relocation processes, temporary occupations and an evolving urban context.
A long-term, on-site mission at the intersection of urban design and implementation, carried out alongside SPL Plaine Commune Développement, local authorities, design teams and developers.
