An entry-point to the city long shaped by its industrial past — from Blanzy Poure to BIC Conté — Bréquerecque still bears the marks of deindustrialisation and fragmentation by infrastructure, yet retains a vibrant urban and human heritage.
As the banks of the Liane river are being transformed and new projects emerge around the district, the City is launching a new phase: envisioning the future of Bréquerecque by building on its existing assets, everyday uses and strong potential for reconnection.
Reinvesting industrial brownfields, rethinking public spaces, improving daily mobility, enhancing attractiveness: a set of challenges to be tackled collectively, in synergy with the ongoing dynamics of the territory.
