Cité République holds a unique position: a vast mineral island at the heart of a dense and constrained urban fabric, surrounded by flows but lacking true anchorage. Here, the challenge is not just transformation — it’s about restoring a balance between urban density and breathing space.
We see a rare opportunity to combine urban intensification with the creation of a true metropolitan park. To build, yes — but by opening up space for a generous, vegetated void: structuring, shared, and refreshing. Reinvesting the edges, activating the ground floors, reconnecting everyday pathways, while strengthening a landscape framework capable of cooling the city.
Together with Établissement and Berim, we are pursuing a careful yet ambitious strategy of urban reconquest — turning this site into a model of inhabited, porous, and resilient density. A density that does not overwhelm, but instead engages with air, soil, and use.
